Background
The Manchester-born lad joined United from the well known Fletcher Moss Junior football club, following the footsteps of Wes Brown, Danny Welbeck and Ravel Morrison.
The Red Devils had to fight off interest from their neighbors Manchester City in getting the signature of the youngster. It ended up being a good decision for both parties as Rashford soon became an integral part of Paul McGuiness' under-18 side.
The 18-year-old has trained with the first team on numerous occasions throughout the season. He also impressed earlier this season in the UEFA Youth League, netting twice at PSV Eindhoven and scoring from the spot against Wolfsburg, he scored his first under-21 goal in a 6-1 rout of Leicester before Christmas.
