Druid

Druid

The forest dwelling denizens of Algoran. They oppose the expansionist nature of the Synagogue, and the barbarian's destructive nature. They protect the forest and its dwellers with the might of mana from the roots and the sun.

Their leader is a mighty shapeshifter who talks to animals regularly. His elven name was Malciar, but he is known to his kind as "The chosen"

In terms of playstyle, they rely on building up defenses. They should end up with both an army and a large creature to beat down.

Acolyte

Acolyte

The institution of Algoran. They are followers of the religion of Syranism and are called Syranids. While not too strict, they are not against using fear, force, and bureaucracy alike to get their way.

Syran is an angel who existed before humans. Originally all angels were equal, but Syran is the first to ascend past them. This is where The Synagogue gets their mana.

In terms of cards, they are heavily control themed. Flyers are also prevalent.

Barbarian

Barbarian

Ruthless, destructive, and heavily cultured, the Barbarians of Algoran seek to conquer seeing all others as obstacles. They use their traditional charms to fuel their powers. They have no allegiance other then to themselves.

They're lead by Elder Markeel. A man as old as the ground he stands on and a revered and respected warrior.

In terms of cards they seek an aggro plan with a midrange backup. they do lose to most lategame scenarios and have trouble rebuilding a broken line.

Rogue

Rogue

The rebellion against the controlling and authoritarian nature of The Synagogue. They shall stop at no ends to destroy the institution that in many cases has destroyed their lives. They are prison breakers, arsonists, thieves, assassins, terrorists, and to some, heroes.

They have no leader, and no monolith. In fact, they rarely meet except for a biweekly meeting called The Gathering to trade and share Intel.

They play a controlling and surprising tempo based plan. They embody their colors well

Militia

Militia

They draw the mana from the ground beneath them. This manifests itself in colorless mana causing the militia to oppose colored mana, as it's a weapon of the powers of Algoran.

They are lead by General Roolka, a kind but cynical ruler. He wishes to end the war and prevent further citizen bloodshed.

They use nonartifact colorless creatures and use mechanics designed to disadvantage the opponent for playing too many colors.
