Wallets and men have had a long standing relationship which can at best be described as one of practicality and utility till about a few years ago. But today a man is judged by his taste in wallets and thus it has become very important to understand how to select a wallet.

• Size: The size of the wallet depends on the things that a person has to carry. Generally the things that are carried in the wallet include identification, business or credit cards, money, photos if any.  An overstuffed wallet is not only an eye-sore; it is also very difficult to carry. o  Money clips: This is a unique concept and makes for a simple yet effective way for carrying some cards or some amount of money in the breast pocket of a suit.
o  Phone case wallets: These minimalistic creations help reduce clutter for people who like stuffing things in their pockets and are also quite popular.
o  Travel wallets: Also known as the passport wallet, they are well equipped to hold important documents, passports, identification and all other such things that might be needed for travelling from one place to another.

• Coin pockets: There are some countries especially in the Europe and Asia wherein there is rampant use of coins. Thus people tend to pick up a lot of coins on the way which also need to be stored carefully for their monetary value. Thus in such instances a person should always opt for a wallet with a coin pocket so that the coins do not fall out of the pocket and are readily available when required.
• Card slots: Any person who needs to carry multiple cards should either opt for a separate card holder or buy a wallet which has multiple card slots. But it is always better not to stuff the wallet with cards since the cards tend to bend from the pressure applied on them when the wallet is being carried.

Wallet selection is an important business and the selection of custom wallets for men tends to add a touch of personality to the otherwise mundane wallet. But the fact that any wallet can be converted into a custom wallet further increases its demand.
