Which Classic D&D Class Are You?
Classic means a lot of things to a lot of people, but I always think of certain archetypes. Are you the Fighter, the Rogue, the Cleric, the Barbarian, the Ranger, or the Wizard?

Fighter
Fighter
A fighter is a versatile, weapons-oriented warrior who fights using skill, strategy and tactics. Bodyguards, former soldiers, invading bandit kings, or master swordsmen are all fighters, yet they come from all walks of life and often find themselves on very different alignments, goals, and sides in a conflict.
Barbarian
Barbarian
Barbarians are seen as the archetypal warrior who uses brute strength and raw fury to excel in combat, instead of the honed skills of the Fighter. Barbarians can tap their inner fury to fly into a "berserker-like" rage, then become fatigued for a time. They are fearsome opponents on the field of battle.
Wizard
Wizard
A wizard uses arcane magic, and is considered less effective in melee combat than other classes. They are capable of performing a wide variety of magical effects both in and out of combat. Able to manipulate objects, as well as the natural forces of lightning, fire, and ice. They are incredibly versatile.
Cleric
Cleric
Clerics are versatile, both capable in combat and skilled in the use of divine magic. Most are powerful healers due to the large number of restorative magics available to them. Their divine abilities allow them to repel or control the undead. They are only class to be in every version of D&D without a name change.
Rogue
Rogue
A rogue is a versatile character, capable of sneaky combat and nimble tricks. The rogue is stealthy and dexterous, and many are skilled at finding and disarming many traps and picking locks. Their high dexterity lends itself well to the use of bows and small blades, which they can use for sneak attacks.
Ranger
Ranger
Rangers are hunters, skilled woodsmen, and often live reclusive lives as hermits. They are proficient in the use of traps and bows, as well as some magics. They often travel with an animal companion, and are usually especially skilled at fighting a specific type of enemy such as orcs or kobolds.
