Cicero is a senator of Rome and a gifted orator. He speaks at Julius Caesar’s victory parade. He is an older gentleman.

Calphurnia is Julius Caesar’s wife. Often plagued by horrific nightmares, Calphurnia is deeply superstitious, and begs him to not to go to the Senate where he is assassinated. She is a devoted wife and lover to Caesar.

Portia
Portia is Brutus’ wife and close confidante. She is very troubled when he does not tell her of the conspiracy, and argues with him about it. Later, she kills herself by swallowing hot coals.

The Soothsayer
The soothsayer is an old wise man who can see the future. He warns Caesar about the “Ides of March,” essentially predicting his death. Caesar carelessly disregards the soothsayer and his visions.
Flavius & Murellus
Flavius & Murellus
Two tribunes who take off the decorations from Caesar’s statues, and are later punished as a result of their vandalism. They accuse the crowds of being fickle because whenever someone new comes to rule, the crowds support the newcomer. Flavius and Murellus see themselves as protesters and reasonable demonstrators.
