The Blackboard mobile app comes in 30 different languages and is free to download. This app assists students with staying steadily informed on their current courses due dates for upcoming assignments, quizzes, tests, and also allows students to view their current grade standings from the convenience of their smart phone.

Whether It is a group project, study group, or extracurricular organization, this free app aids in efficient communication between large or small groups. It allows students to be a part of multiple organized group chats without the mess of having to constantly save and delete numbers.

Spotify is an way for students to listen to their favorite music, study playlist and original podcast for free. Spotify is accessible on a computer, mobile device, tablet and now available on the Apple watch. While the free version of this app does require that users listen to ads every few songs, there is an ad free version that is discounted for students at the rate of $4.99, known as the Spotify Premium for Students plan.

When using this application, users are also able to easily share files and folders with other users and set sharing permission to view, comment and even edit.

Quizlet is a app that helps students study and practice the curriculum they are currently learning. Through this application, students are able to share study material with other classmates and utilize various study tools such as flashcards, matching and written games.

The Dropbox app is a creative app is aimed at reducing disorganization and bringing all of a user’s files into one space. Dropbox is a free app that allows storage, easy transferring of particularly large files across all devices and file sharing.

The app provides spelling, punctuation and grammar suggestions as well as explanations letting the user know why the correction is necessary.

This meditation and sleep stories app is recognized as the number one app for sleep, mediation, and relaxation, winning the 2017 app of the year and best of 2018 from Apple. The app includes a multitude of programs for beginners, intermediate and advanced users to help promote better sleep and mindfulness and lower stress and anxiety levels. Other programs on the application include stretching exercises, guided mediations and relaxing music.
