Hare
Hare
Congrats, you are a Hare! Hares are generally known for being fun-loving, very talkative, sometimes slightly obnoxious, and mostly having very long names. Their vast appetites are legendary. In spite of their apparent casual attitude however, most hares are very dangerous and courageous fighters and can be extremely dependable in battle. For this reason, they are often chosen by Badger Lords to form their elite army, the Long Patrol. Hares tend to reside at Salamandastron, Redwall Abbey, or the Northlands. Every published Redwall book mentions hares.
Otter
Otter
Congrats, you are an Otter! Commonly found in or around water, otters are playful, excellent fighters, and quite partial to Hotroot Soup.
Ferret
Ferret
Congrats, you are a Ferret! In the Redwall universe, ferrets are considered evil vermin (with four notable exceptions). Ferrets are decent fighters, on the level of weasels and stoats, superior to rats but inferior to foxes.
Mouse
Mouse
Congrats, you are a Mouse! Mice have been inhabitants of Redwall and Mossflower since the beginning. Mice have always been "good" creatures, and while the majority are peaceful, there are more than a few mouse warriors--most notably, Martin the Warrior. Most of Redwall's Abbots and Abbesses have been mice, as was its founder.
Badger
Badger
Congrats, you are a Badger! Badgers are large beasts with long lifespans, immense strength, and a tremendous sense of honor. They are most commonly found in Salamandastron.
Rat
Rat
Congrats, you are a Rat! Inclusive of searats, bilge rats, water rats, tavern rats and regular rats. Almost exclusively badbeasts and consists of the majority of villains in the Redwall universe. Of all of the villains, rats are portrayed as the most numerous, smallest, weakest and stupidest, with several often defeated by one warrior. Consequently, they are often seen as the lowest sort of "paw" soldier in villain hordes. Exceptions exist, of course, with several rats being fearsome warriors or leaders, with Cluny the Scourge as the most famous example.
Hedgehog
Hedgehog
Congrats, you are a Hedgehog! Hedgehogs are prickly beasts that come from all walks of life, from warriors to cooks to riverbeasts. They are typically easy-going and friendly, though a few have been known to become eccentric or insane in old age. Many Hedgehogs come from a clan or tribe, such as the Dillypins, Rabblehogs, or Waterhogs, and it is traditional (though not exclusive) for the cellarkeeper of Redwall Abbey to be a hedgehog.
Squirrel
Squirrel
Congrats you are a Squirrel! Squirrels can be fierce fighters and are usually considered to be on the "good" side. The notable exception was the Gawtrybe, known to be utterly ruthless and undisciplined. All squirrels are excellent climbers. Among squirrels, the term "treewhiffler" is used to describe champion climbers, the best of the best.
